How EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) works

How a Spark Plug Ignition works

The first spark plug was invented by Oliver Lodge in 1903. A spark plug is an insulated plug screwed into the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine to provide a spark that ignites the air and fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. Spark plugs also transfer heat from the combustion chamber.

This is basically what happens “The spark plug is located on top of the cylinder head. First, the piston moves down the cylinder, where the intake valve draws the mixture of fuel and air into the cylinder. The piston then moves back towards the spark plug, compressing the mixture. At the last second when the piston reaches its peak or Top Dead Center (TDC) the spark plug ignites and ignites the mixture. The piston moves back down to create power for the vehicle. The exhaust is then pushed back up to remove it. The exhaust valve then removes the exhaust and the process starts again.”
